If you weren't happy to begin with, then you will never be happy with each other. IMHO, you have to experience the highs and lows in a relationship to really grow. If allow the relationship to get stagnante then you are doomed. Having said that, it doesn't mean you have to selfishly want the other person to cater to your needs. If you can't be self-sufficient then you shouldn't be in a relationship with anyone.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948384407338209758.post-60619201303706289902009-09-09T20:06:05.415-07:002009-09-09T20:06:05.415-07:00Is this going to come down to how model stress in ...Is this going to come down to how model stress in an AI in a competitive environment or an AI's decision making/prioritization skills?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948384407338209758.post-19568358949763137342009-09-08T16:39:26.287-07:002009-09-08T16:39:26.287-07:00"And almost all video game AI comes down to m..."And almost all video game AI comes down to modeling human behavior, generally through statistical models."

Heh... the exact subject of my book, eh?

And yes, E3 is amusing now that it is back the way it was meant to be. I would love to see you at an industry conference, however. And almost all video game AI comes down to modeling human behavior, generally through statistical models. I'm not sure how much more interesting stuff I have to say on the subject.

I live in Boston, but I confess I'm really anti-travel, so I won't be at GameX. If I was pro travel though, I'd probably try to make it to E3 some year. I've been twice and it's generally been a bunch of fun.Ted Vesseneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17711708636792771116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948384407338209758.post-54835003019275108392009-09-07T21:44:03.689-07:002009-09-07T21:44:03.689-07:00Sometimes I have to do a double-take when I read y...Sometimes I have to do a double-take when I read your blog entries in my rss reader. After all, you fall square in the middle of my "AI Blogs" folder.

Nonetheless, excellent commentary as always.

(You're in the northeast, right? You going to GameX next month?)Dave Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04878858990811096680noreply@blogger.com
